Awards

The novelty and utility of Cleansorb's technology has been recognised in the form of several major awards for Cleansorb projects and products.

Arcasolve was awarded the status of a Millennium Product.  This initiative was launched by then British Prime Minister Tony Blair to identify and promote the most innovative products, designs and services which would change the way we live in the 21st century. Selection criteria included innovation, creativity and whether the product was pioneering in its field. 

Cleansorb has also received an EC CRAFT Exploratory Award to investigate oilfield applications of enzymes and a DTI SMART Award to investigate the enzyme-based deposition of scale inhibitors.  

It also won a prize in the Hampshire Innovation Competition relating to enzyme-based consolidation of poorly consolidated sandstones.
