Awards for Cleansorb Technology

The novelty and utility of Cleansorb's technology has been recognised in the form of several major awards for Cleansorb projects and products.

Millennium Product. Arcasolve has been awarded the status of a Millennium Product. This initiative was launched by British Prime Minister Tony Blair to identify and promote the most innovative products, designs and services which will change the way we live in the 21st century. Selection criteria include innovation, creativity and whether the product is pioneering in its field (see press release).

CRAFT Exploratory Award. Cleansorb received a prestigious European Commission CRAFT Award to assist in examining the feasibility of using enzymes for a number of novel oil industry applications.

SMART. Cleansorb has been the recipient of a SMART award to investigate a particular oil industry application of enzymes . SMART awards are to encourage innovation and are made by the UK Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) on a competitive basis to individuals and independent small and medium companies (SMEs). Hampshire Innovation Competition. The concept of using enzymes to achieve sand consolidation has already won Cleansorb a major regional award in the Hampshire Innovation Competition (see press release).
