Five Arcasolve Orca^TM chemicals are now available for North Sea use. CEFAS templates have now been issued for several Arcasolve Orca^TM products (surfactants and acid precursors) effective for use against oil-based drill-in fluid filter cakes. 

Arcasolve Orca^TM is used for highly effective removal of residual oil based mud drilling damage.  With this product range, operating companies can ensure effective filter cake cleanup and maximise the productivity and net present value of their wells, using only low hazard chemicals.

In common with other Cleansorb chemicals already on the Definitive Ranked list of Approved Products the Arcasolve Orca^TM products have been placed in Colour Band "Gold", which is the lowest hazard band based on the results of Aquatic toxicity and Sediment tocity tests.     

Cleansorb now has a total of 13 products available for North Sea use, including 9 Gold Band and 4 PLONOR products. PLONOR products are on the OSPAR List of Substances / Preparations Used and Discharged Offshore which Are Considered to Pose Little or No Risk to the Environment.
